Mission & Vision
EWC General Trading & Contracting Company WLL (EWC), a Kuwait-based company was founded in 2001 and since its inception. EWC has been a pioneer in providing monitoring and consultancy services in the field of Environment in Kuwait.
As an experienced system integrator, EWC offers comprehensive turnkey solutions, including supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and data management systems. These solutions cover a wide range of monitoring requirements such as Ambient and Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, Continuous Emission Monitoring, Noise Monitoring, and Water Quality Monitoring along with other IoT-based monitoring requirements in Kuwait.
Since its inception, EWC has successfully conducted many Environment Impact Assessment Studies across diverse sectors. The company provides a range of services including Environment Consultancy, Environment Monitoring, Dispersion Modeling studies, management, and monitoring plans for industry, government, and individuals.
EWC holds a Grade “A” certification from the Environment Public Authority (EPA) of Kuwait, allowing it to offer Environment Consultancy, EIA Studies, and Evaluation of Environmental Conditions services to the Kuwaiti market. Additionally, EWC is also registered with major entities such as Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries (including KIPIC, KNPC, KOC, PIC, etc.) for Environmental Consultancy and Monitoring services. The company is also ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certified.
EWC has a strong track record of serving various organizations in Kuwait which includes KPC and its subsidiaries, Environment Public Authority of Kuwait (KEPA), Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), Public Authority for Industry (PAI), Kuwait University (KU), Ministry of Public Works, Public Authority for Roads & Transportation (PART) and to various other local large to small-scale industries.

Meet Our Team
Fouad M. Al - Alwadhi - Chairman
Having experience in both telecom and oil & gas industries for more than 30 years. Mr. Fouad received his BSc, in Industrial Engineering from the university of Miami, Florida in 1988. He obtained several professional certificates such as Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information System Auditor.
Prof. Jasem M. Al-Awadhi - Partner
With more than 60 publications, Prof. Jasem Al Alwadhi, Department Manager of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science, Kuwait is a distinguished scholar who has made significant contribution in the field of Environmental Science - Desert Science - Sediment Transport, Erosion and Deposition - Sand Control Measures and Modeling - Air Pollution Modeling and Sesimology - Environmental Impact Assessment Studies.
Amjad Moinuddin - Chief Operating Officer
With a background in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Engr. Amjad Moinuddin has delivered many turnkey solutions for environment monitoring in various fields such as air quality, noice water quality, meteorology, continous emissions, seismic and strong motion. He has also worked extensively for the Environment Consultancy, conducting EIA, modeling and compliance studies for different sectors and projects.
Sheikh Abdul Majeed Ahmad - Partner
Masters in Nuclear Physics, Mr. Abdul Majeed's impactful work spans several decades and includes the successful implementation of over 30 distinct environment monitoring projects since the 1980s. As a pioneer of environment monitoring in Kuwait, Mr. Abdul Majeed's contributions have been instrumental in advancing environmental monitoring and protecting the environment.
Mohammed J. Al-Alawadhi - Managing Director
Mr. Mohammed Al-Alawadhi holds a B.S in Finance from Montana State University - Bozeman. He has contributed his expertise to renowned corporations such as Ernst & Young, Zain Kuwait, and Zain Group. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found a tech startup in Kuwait, where he served as CEO from its inception until 2023. In January 2024, Mr. Mohammed was appointed as Managing Director at EWC, assuming the pivotal role of leading EWC into its next phase of growth. His extensive experience and strategic vision position him to drive the company forward with confidence and success.
