Seismic & Structural Monitoring Solutions

EWC stands as the forerunner of seismological advancements in Kuwait. Founded by visionary pioneers, EWC has played a pivotal role in bolstering Kuwait’s resilience against seismic events. Their unwavering commitment to seismological solutions has not only enhanced preparedness but also fostered a safer and more sustainable environment for all.

Since its inception in 2001, EWC has diligently maintained and operated the Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN)—the sole seismic monitoring system in the country. Here’s a glimpse of EWC’s impactful work:

Seismic Instrumentation: EWC supplies, installs, operates, and maintains an array of cutting-edge equipment, including short-period seismometers, broadband seismometers, accelerometers, and strong motion & broadband digitizers. These instruments capture critical seismic data, enabling accurate assessments of ground motion during earthquakes. Data Acquisition and Processing: EWC’s commitment extends beyond hardware. Their interactive analysis tools empower experts to delve into seismic data, unravel patterns, and make informed decisions. Whether it’s assessing aftershocks or understanding fault behavior, EWC’s software plays a crucial role.

In summary, EWC’s holistic approach—from instrumentation to software—ensures that Kuwait remains resilient in the face of natural upheavals.
